To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing today to complain of the poor service I received from your company on June 12, 2020. I was visited by a representative of That Awful Company, Mr. Madman, at my home that day.
Mr. Madman was one hour late for his appointment and offered nothing by way of apology when he arrived at noon. Your representative did not remove his muddy shoes upon entering my house and consequently left a trail of dirt in the hallway. Mr. Madman then proceeded to present a range of products to me that I had specifically told his assistant by telephone that I was not interested in. I repeatedly tried to ask your representative about the products that were of interest to me, but he refused to deal with my questions. We ended our meeting after 25 minutes without either of us having accomplished anything.
I am most annoyed that I wasted a morning (and half a day's vacation) waiting for Mr. Madman to show up. My impression of That Awful Company has been tarnished, and I am now concerned about how my existing business is being managed by your firm. Furthermore, Mr. Madman's inability to remove his muddy shoes has meant that I have had to engage the services, and incur the expense, of a professional carpet cleaner.
I trust this is not the way That Awful Company wishes to conduct business with valued customers—I have been with you since the company was founded and have never encountered such treatment before. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss matters further and to learn how you propose to prevent a similar situation from recurring. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,

Subject- Poor quality and inadequate supply of municipal water
Sir
I, on behalf of all the residents, write to draw your attention towards the poor quality and inadequate supply of municipal water in the area of Gulmohar Colony. We have been facing this inconvenience since a week now.
Earlier, there was regular supply of municipal water throughout the day. But now the situation is worrisome. The water is rarely available and the quality too, has deteriorated. It is pale in colour and has a foul smell. Due to this, it has become unfit for drinking and can neither be used for any other activity. The situation has become so bad that we are compelled to purchase bottled water or even consume ground water at times.
I hereby humbly request you to look into the grave issue and take the necessary action required to restore adequate supply of clean water in the area. I look forward to your cooperation at the earliest.
Thanking you
Yours truly

2. VIOLENT RIOT FORCES BENGALURU SHUTDOWN
4th September
India's tech capital was virtually shut down owing to widespread riots following the Su-prime Court verdict. The court on Monday had asked the Karnataka government to divert some water to Tamil Nadu, against the petition filed by Tamil. Nadu, Indian and foreign companies have asked employees to stay at home till the violence is over. thus leading to shutdown of India's Silicon Valley. Bengaluru has been facing constant disruptions this month, owing to Cauvery issue and trade union strike, but this week's violence was the most serious. One person has died so far in the riots. The Cauvery issue dates back to pre-independence years and the three riparian states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have been filing petitions intermittently, whenever one state feels they're being cheated out of their fair share. The business world signals that frequent interruptions leading to business loss would make them look for alternate locations. The state assures that this is a one-time incident and the state shall give all possible security for smooth functioning of business and daily life transactions.
